Rick Stock was born and raised in England. He served 6 years in the British Royal Air Force, and came to the USA in 1961. Rick joined a band and traveled as a professional musician/entertainer for 20 years. He became a Christian in 1974, left the band in 1982, and became a US citizen in 1984. He is now a letter carrier at Avenal Post Office. Rick is married to Jeanette, has 4 children and 8 grandchildren. He says that he "can't imagine life without them". The Lord blessed Rick by allowing him to begin writing his own songs in November of 1999. It happened quite suddenly on his mail route one day when a friend met him at the door and traded him some song lyrics for her mail and said "Could you put these to music?" The rest is history, and has been placed in the Lord's hands. Rick's music ministry is primarily at Avenal First Baptist Church at this time.
