Granger Water Specialties is a Systems Integrator for ABB Variable Frequency Drives (VFD). VFDs provide the ultimate in control for 3 phase motor applications. Allowing the customer to efficiently control the speed of the motor, VFDs are becoming the affordable solution to once complex problems.

ABB's AC drives offer solutions from .5 hp to 6500 hp

GWS provides pump/VFD packages for water pressure systems, submersible pumps and water well applications, and wastewater operations for precise air control and optimization of recirculating systems. On multi-pump pressure systems a single ABB drive can provide automatic, stand-alone control of up to 4 pressure pumps.

In municipal water systems without elevated storage tanks, ABB drives have been utilized to provide precise control of system water pressures. ABB drives have eliminated the need for hydro-pneumatic tanks in many of these applications. In several cases the incorporation of ABB drives have reduced electrical costs by 10 to 20%.
